Entry #3: Birds In The Trap
I chose to talk about Travis Scott's digital identity, I currently follow him on twitter and instagram and for each platform they are somewhat the same. His purpose in having these accounts is to show how he's living life, his views when he performs in concerts, and promotes music. Usaully on instgram his contents consist of his new music and leaves a link under to listen to it, new music videos, sometimes he even posts other artist's music which is cool because not much famous artists promote uprising stars. When Travis repost anything it's usually him singing from a fans camera or just a picture of him either with a fan or at a concert. Travis Scott will never give a sneak peek of his upcoming work, which makes it reason to follow him because you'll know when he's drops anything, he'll post it letting his fans be the first to know. Travis's audience are his fans because all his post are about promoting himself with his music career and his clothing line it's what the people want see from him, sometimes when he's on twitter he tweets his followers thanking them for being a fan of his work. Also the way he connects to society is through the issues that are happening now, he makes a post about it. For example when the presidential votes opened up he posted a picture of the White House encouraging his fans to vote captioning "Your votes count". Travis Scott has really been connected to his fans and has influenced others to never stop what you love doing and make money out of it, being that he came from nothing, his lifestyles on instagram has changed the young generation to pursues there dreams.

I have never really listened to Travis Scott but judjing from the post, he seems to be a good role model. Not many celebrities encourage their fans to go out there and be true to themselves. I think that he's doing a good thing for people.
