Entry #5: The takeover

After listening to, The American Life's episode: Status Update's podcast its ccome to my attention that we do intend to want the most likes and comments, choose the right picture to post, make the caption sound good, and etc. I my self have fallen in each of those categories I always end up picking the best picture that makes me look good. It really didn't surprise much how these teens do all that before posting just one picture and how much these comments sound so much alike with the girls I follow. Also the culture now has change us significantly, now people are getting  surgeries to look better than their natural selves just to get attention with the real world and digital world. One interesting comment she made caught my attention where she said if her friends don't comment on their picture they view as not a loyal friend, I find that really upsetting where now you have to have your friends comment on a picture you post just to verify that we're friends. Not like how it was before were you new your friends because you actually hung out with them. Sadly to say social media has changed the youth's culture than what it was before.
